Invescom advised the owners of NORDFILM, a renowned Hungarian producer of flexible packaging products, in connection with the buyout of the financial sponsor and a subsequent capital raise through which SIT Group acquired majority ownership in the business. SIT Group is a leading privately owned player in the European flexible packaging market.
Since its foundation 6 years ago NORDFILM became a major player in the Hungarian flexible packaging market. The Company primarily serves international blue-chip clients in the pet food and food industries with high-quality single and multi-layer printed films.
SIT Group, headquartered in San Marino, is one of Europe’s leading producers of flexible packaging products for the confectionary segment with € 240m sales in 2023. SIT Group carried out its first acquisition outside of Italy.
