Sale of thematic television channels SportKlub, F&H and DoQ by IKO Media Group to Ayudate Holding
We acted as sell-side M&A advisors to IKO Media Group on the sale of thematic television channels SportKlub, Fishing&Hunting and DoQ to Ayudate Holding.
Prior to the transaction, SportKlub broadcasted among others football games of Italian Serie A. IKO Media Group was one of the leading thematic television broadcasters in Central Eastern Europe in the early 2010s, operating thematic television channels in a number of countries in the region from Serbia to Poland.
A few month before the transaction, Ayudate Holding acquired Juventus Radio, so this was their second acquisition within a short timeframe in the Hungarian media market.
