We acted as sell-side M&A advisor to the owners of Plasztik-Tranzit, a leading Hungarian flexible packaging producer in connection with the sale to Coveris, an Austria-based strategic giant.
The company offers high-quality extrusion, flexo printing, lamination and converting services for its clients in the food, agricultural and logistics sectors in Hungary and the neighbouring countries.
Coveris is a leading European packaging group operating in 25 sites with 4,200 employees in the EMEA region. The group manufactures flexible packaging solutions for the food, pet food, medical devices, industrial and agricultural sectors. The acquisition of Plasztik-Tranzit is part of Coveris’s expansion strategy and enabled Coveris to successfully enter into the CEE region.
