Invescom acted as sell-side advisor to RayNet, a leading Hungarian system supplier specializing in passive telecommunications network infrastructure solutions. RayNet was acquired by Amadys Group, headquartered in Belgium, one of the largest European providers of end-to-end connectivity solutions for the telecom and energy markets. Amadys is majority owned by Equistone Partners Europe, one of Europe’s leading mid-market private equity investors.

With 25 years of experience in telecom infrastructure solutions, RayNet delivers turnkey fibre optic systems to its prime customer base consisting of telecom service providers, communication infrastructure providers and utility companies. Thanks to its technological know-how and in-house engineering capabilities, RayNet has developed several proprietary network solutions, while also engaging in manufacturing of network equipment in its own production facility.

Amadys Group operates in 11 countries in Europe with a turnover of EUR 400 million. The acquisition of RayNet fits perfectly in the international expansion strategy of Amadys by establishing its footprint in Hungary.
