We acted as sell-side advisor to Swedish Enea Software AB (STO: ENEA), a specialist provider of software products for telecom and cybersecurity sectors, in connection with the divestment of its Software Development Services business unit (“SDS”). Following an international auction process, SDS was acquired by Arobs Transilvania Software (BSE: AROBS), a leading provider of software development services headquartered in Romania.
In its 20+ years of operations, SDS has become a prominent IT oursourcing player in the field of embedded software development services. With high value added, R&D-grade services, SDS supplies the premium market segment. SDS clients consist of global blue-chip players in the US and Europe in the telecom, medical, aerospace and other industries.
The transaction represents the largest deal in Arobs’ history of operations strengthening its “Software Services” business line as well as boosting its presence in Romania and the USA. SDS will operate under the Arobs brand following the transaction.
